1. I really like how she's such a humanitarian at heart, she is truly someone who wants to feed the hungry, cure the sick, heal the wounded.

2. Their first meeting at the Opera house; it was magical for her. This is their initial meeting, not at the Halloween gala. She was in a borrowed dress, but Selene was so calm, so kind to her.

3. They don't have a big relationship yet, but I see a lot of potential for growth. Esp with me trying to write this post about Anika staying late to give Selene those lab tests she needs, and get her on a vitamin and mineral regimen that supports both mother and child.

4. Begin typing up an outline for a report she's going to give Ashley on the car he loaned her, stating it's good and bad points. (bad points as in - not good for twin child seats)

5. You need to start taking care of you, the baby will care for itself, but at your expense. So yes, rest, relaxation techniques, and a better diet.

6. Sit back, have a cup of tea and discuss men, because Anika is really kind of stumped when it comes to this whole 'next step in the' relationship with a shark-man thing. Of course she wouldn't be the one to bring it up so?

1. Ah, what else do I like about her? She's a mutant, but her mutant ability isn't to leap tall buildings and outrace trains. She still is human, she still has those frailties and frustrations, which are very apparent because of who she surrounds herself with. And still she gives it her all.

2. Oh geez, the night at the opera house when the girls got all dressed up and went out with Ashley! *big grin* And the ongoing little comments that are left in Anika's journal.

3. I feel like at times it's very much a big-sister/little-sister relationship. but it can veer either way, depending on what happens. After all, Neph was certainly the bigger sister while Anika had fallen into depression.

4. Tonight? She stood looking down at the girls while they slept, and missed their father terribly. Someone needs a hug.

5. How would you like to put your sketching talent to work for a few days, and help me paint some things on the walls of the childrens rooms where I work?

6. Time away from the lab, time together to hang out (maybe with Anya and Logan) and just play and be themselves. Late night slumber party in the living room with movies and popcorn and togetherness maybe?

1. I like that she's very ethical, and doesn't like to compromise her beliefs. However, there are still times when common sense wins out. i.e. She's a doc to be, and goes by the core belief of 'first do no harm' but she picked up a gun and shot it in the hospital to save a child. Anika has standards and ethics. She doesn't believe that you 'do something or you'll be punished if you don't'. She believes in 'doing something because it's the right thing to do, period.'

2. *laughs* The first night they met - the bar brawl; and the afternoon that he took her swimming; and yes she is both relieved and unhappy that those tourists came along when they did.

3. What I like about her with him? She's never tried to analyze and diagnose him. He is what he is to her, a person from (basically) another world. She does forget at times and treat him as if he was human and grew up in the world she did - but that is simply her own humanity showing.

What I like about him with her? He hasn't pushed her to do something she didn't want. He's tempted her, but has never once pushed or forced her. It says a whole lot for him and her that their relationship has been going for SEVEN MONTHS real world time and they really haven't gone beyond some very intense kisses, a caress here and there and some light petting.

And what I like about their relationship together? They compliment each other - they encourage each other and most of all? They accept and really respect each other. Its very rare.

Ok, wow, talked a lot on that.

4. Made sure the girls were safe and asleep, then went in her room and did some late night work. Then it was time for evening prayer, and before she got into bed she looked out the window and thought about NPR.

6. I really don't know! Part of me would like to see their relationship advance, but - due to the character, there are certain advancements that she simply doesn't want to happen until she gets her Degree, if you get my drift. So... flip a coin?
