What the heck was I thinking? Was I thinking? I could not have been thinking. At all. Temporary insanity, it had to be. Insanity brought on by ummm, insane stuff. It had to be. There is no other reason on earth why I would say THAT to him.

I will never live this down. Never, ever, ever live this down. They all heard it! They had to, I yelled it awfully loudly. And I never curse! But he... *throws hands in air* OOooh so angry. Still, it's probably not too intelligent, to threaten to beat up a Rokea.

But I do wish that he would stop repeating my words and laughing about it. It is so embarrassing! (cut for potential unending embarrassment*

Maybe he's just laughing 'cuz you finally dug up some balls, Ani. At least, I hope so, because if he thinks the little lady getting all defensive about her space is funny, we need to talk.

It's one thing to snap you out of a funk, but I don't ever want to hear him (or anybody) yelling at you like that again, or things are gonna get real ugly real fast. And it's not like I don't like the guy. He's been good for you, and you needed a kick to the head. I'm just sayin', some things shouldn't get to be a habit.

She stood up to me! She ain't even half my size, an' she looked like she was ready t' kick my ass! *grinning like an idiot* I like it. It makes absolutely no logical survival sense, but I like it!

An' darlin's, both o' ya, I'm sorry. Didn' mean t' lose my temper like that. I really was scared t' death I'd get t' th' house an' there'd be no one left alive but th' Garou or th' Rokea. Been a rough week.

Nah, I get it. We've been dealin' with what you might call "extenuating circumstances" a lot lately. Stress does that to people. But, as far as human behavior goes, knocking down a door when a girl doesn't want to talk to you is not cool (no matter what bad romance novels say IamlookingatyouStephanieMeyer) and it makes most girls' jerkdar go WHOOP WHOOP.

...are you suggesting that Ani has any survival instinct? At all? I couldn't get her to leave a vampire plague! Something's wired all wrong in there.

*shrug* Normally I'd have let it go an' jus' left, but I kinda had t' get her t' quit mopin' in a hurry. I was callin' for three days cuz my kids are bein' watched by my neighbor near th' port, an' that ain't exactly safe. So... *shrug* Would rather her be pissed at me an' everyone be alive an' in one piece than everyone end up gettin' eaten.

I don' think she does have any survival sense, honestly. At least, I ain't seen it...
