Ok guys, It's been calm for almost a week. Calm as in massive amounts of overtime but nothing catastrophic. SO, I'm going to try to bust out some responses today *and I even shut off the addictive Fbook applications for this* I got two done already and I hope I can get them all. Wish me luck!

Ummmmmmmm I am not sure how you all want to address Oni dying, but Logan really has no intention of planning or attending a funeral.

However, he might be more inclined to do it if Ani or Neph talked to him. I dont know.

Neph genuinely hasn't got the first clue about arranging a memorial, and she's not the type to need a grave to grieve at (burying an empty casket seems pretty ridiculous to her, and I doubt they're gonna be getting Oni's body back). I think she'll be much more worried about holding everybody together, that being what Oni would've wanted more than a headstone.

I'm a little confused as to how they found out at all, though. Like, where was she when the news hit? Who told them? I gather that Earl, Freyja and Ashley are still kicking, so I guess one of them could have passed it on? Would they have warned these guys that Garou are out to get them? If not, I could always have Sakamae hear something through the grapevine and urge Lynn to check in on things. We can fill that gap however we need to, but let's agree on something we're all happy with!

I have no more idea about how they find out then anyone else. Earl and Freyja aren't my NPC's so I cant write for them. But I guess we could say that Ashley was the first to know and relayed the news. He is going to go a bit off the radar now with the Garou being on the hunt for blabber mouths.

I am not sure how to address the part about the Garou being out to get them. I get a lot of my information about how Garou society works from Liu so I don't know all the details and honestly, I was not given ANY more detail about this happening then what she wrote in her journal.

Logan does not want to have a service. He hates the idea. So, unless someone else is going to step in and do it....we could just handwave the whole thing. I don't care.

Let us vote for Ashley, then. I can see Sakamae keeping tabs on the situation, but she's still supposed to be garnering Garou support for pan-species cooperation. This does not bode WELL for it, but it isn't as if they're hunting other Fera...so she'll probably feed what information she can to Ashley. Both sides against the middle for her purpose!

I'm not as well read on the Garou and Liu was, but I can poke about a bit. I'll check and see how actively they'd be pursuing the humans, and Neph will stock up on silver weaponry to sling. Come to think of it, Garou kind of fuckin' hate human mages (Namebreakers, whatever) so they probably wouldn't be all that thrilled about all these mutants being in on their secret.

The girls might fanfic some kind of headstone, though honestly Neph doesn't hold with any kind of religious stuff. She'd do it for Anika, though, because she does understand the need for closure. And she probably wouldn't pressure Logan to have anything to do with it, on the condition that he not go and get stinkin' drunk while they're busy. :P

I'm not as well read on Garou specifically, but I'm good at finding missing information. If you need help, let me know :)

NPR will be distracted by the other Rokea, but he will be concerned about Anika and the rest of the people at the Howlett household. He'll probably be wanting to keep a close eye on them when he's not babysitting a bunch of sharks. Rokea and Garou don't always get along, and NPR has a rocky history with them.

So yeah! Whatever y'all want to do.

Suggestion - instead of a head stone? Perhaps a carved tree trunk not far from the house on Howlett land with Oni's mask hung on it? Simple, low key and elegant? The ceremony can consist of them standing together and saying good bye to her or something? No preachers, no prayers, no elaborate goodbyes. But it can be a place for them to go in the future, someplace they might be able to feel closer to her. Not saying that the others would need it - but I feel like Anika would need a marker for her friend, someplace she can plant flowers or go talk to when she feels she needs it.

Sound good? Sound bad?
